Jenny Smith

Jenny Smith has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare technology and project management. Jenny started their career in 2002 as a Project Manager at the State of Tennessee and worked there until 2004. Jenny then joined the Louisiana Dept of Health and Hospitals in 2005 as the Section Chief of Medicaid Management Information Systems. After a year, they moved on to the Louisiana Health Care Review as an IT Project Manager from 2007 to 2010. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at the Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum, initially as an HIT Project Manager and later as the HIE Program Manager. In 2012, they joined the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, where they started as a Project Manager before being promoted to Corporate Director of eHealth in 2014. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Digital Health at the same organization.

Jenny Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University in 1997. Jenny went on to obtain a Master's degree in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University from 2000 to 2004.
