Celeste Adams

Celeste Adams has a strong background in museum leadership and management. Celeste served as the President & CEO of the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust since 2010. Prior to that, they were the Director of the Grand Rapids Art Museum for 13 years from 1997 to 2010. Celeste also worked at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston as an Associate Director from 1980 to 1993.

Celeste Adams completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with honors and distinction in Art History and English Literature at the University of Michigan. Afterward, they attended the Ecole du Louvre in 1972, where their degree and field of study are unspecified. From 1976 to 1978, they pursued a Master's Degree at Harvard University in the field of East Asia/Art History. Celeste Adams also pursued a Master's Degree in Art History at the University of Pennsylvania, although the specific start and end years for this program are unclear.
