Jeremy Rushton

Jeremy Rushton has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as a School Resource Officer at the Community Schools of Frankfort since December 2021. With a longstanding career at the Frankfort Police Department beginning in January 2008, Jeremy holds the position of Sergeant and has a background as a retired SWAT Operator. Additionally, Jeremy has worked as a Deputy Town Marshal at the Mulberry Police Department since May 2016. Jeremy's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Franklin College, completed between 2003 and 2007, alongside training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2008.

The Frankfort Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency in the City of Frankfort, Indiana. The department, composed of 36 sworn law enforcement officers, is tasked with the tremendous responsibility of providing a wide variety of public safety services with a primary focus on crime reduction, investigation, and enforcement of state laws and local ordinances.
