Stephanie Ward

Stephanie Ward is an experienced conservation professional currently serving as the International Coordinator for the Altyn Dala Conservation Initiative at the Frankfurt Zoological Society since March 2020. Prior to this role, Stephanie worked at the RSPB as a Partner Development Officer for Central Asia from October 2012 to March 2020 and founded Look East Wild Earth, serving as Trustee from June 2005 to September 2014. Additional experience includes positions as Community Engagement Coordinator at Waste Watch and Laundry Recycling Account Manager at Bioregional. Early career involvement as a Campaign Assistant at Baikal Environmental Wave provided foundational experience. Stephanie holds an MA in Russian Studies with Distinction from UCL and a BA in Russian Civilisation and Asia Pacific Studies from the University of Leeds.
