Standards and Learning Design Manager at Franklin Apprenticeships

Shane Beattie has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Shane is currently working as a Standards and Learning Design Manager at Franklin Apprenticeships, where they are responsible for creating IT apprenticeship programs in cybersecurity, application development, software/network engineering, and help desk. Shane ensures the alignment of key objectives with apprenticeship outcomes from the Department of Labor. At Beyond BookSmart, they served as an Executive Function Coach, coaching students of various ages in prioritization, organization, strategic planning, time management, and focus maintenance. Shane also analyzed students' requirements and taught unconventional education to address their problems. As a School Administrator at Our Lady Help of Christians Academy, they managed administrative functions, assisted the principal in strategic planning, and educated middle/high school students in various subjects. In their role as a Weather Non-Commissioned Officer at Joint Force Headquarters - Colorado, they conducted seminars, delivered lectures on "Comprehensive Airman Fitness," and managed the quality assurance program. Shane utilized critical thinking to identify and solve problems for staff members.

Shane Beattie has an extensive education history that spans from 2011 to 2023. In 2011, Shane obtained a certification in Personal Training from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). From 2012 to 2016, Shane attended American Military University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. In 2015, Shane also obtained a certificate in Marketing Strategy from Cornell University.

Shane continued to pursue higher education and in 2018, enrolled at Regis University, where they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Project Management in 2019. The following year, in 2020, Shane earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Project Management from Regis University as well.

Currently, Shane is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to these academic pursuits, Shane has also obtained several certifications. In 2011, Shane obtained a certification in Master Resiliency Training from Headquarters Air Force. In 2015, Shane earned a certification in Social and Behavioral Research - Principal Investigator from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative. These additional certifications demonstrate Shane's commitment to professional development and enhancing their skill set.
