Robert E. Collins Jr.

Robert E. Collins Jr. currently serves as the Director of Safety and Security at Franklin County Children Services since November 2023. Prior to this role, Collins held the position of Director of Operations at Whitehall City Schools from March 2022 to November 2023. Additionally, Collins spent over 13 years at Columbus City Schools as the Assistant Director of Safety & Security, where significant contributions included the development of school safety plans and the annual revision of the district's Emergency Operation Plans. Earlier in Collins' career, a tenure at Limited Brands involved management of loss prevention and safety for key corporate campuses, overseeing a team dedicated to asset protection. Collins earned a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security from Columbia Southern University from June 2019 to April 2022 and attended Columbus State Community College from 1992 to 1994.
