Jeff Gauldin

Jeff Gauldin currently holds the position of Director Of Public Works and County Engineer for Franklin County, Virginia, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, Jeff served as the Director Of Public Works for the City of Martinsville from July 2020 to February 2023 and as Water Superintendent for the Town of Rocky Mount from October 2018 to July 2020. Jeff's extensive experience in public works includes serving as an Industrial Coordinator and Water Plant Operator in the City of Martinsville from 2010 to 2018 and from 2002 to 2010, respectively. In addition to managing local industry compliance with discharge regulations, Jeff has also operated a landscaping business from 1998 to 2003. Jeff Gauldin holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology/Site Development from Old Dominion University, along with an Associate of Science degree from Patrick & Henry Community College.
