Amanda Caparas, LCSW, PPSC, is an experienced school social worker currently employed at Franklin-McKinley School District since August 2017. Previously, Amanda served as a school social worker at Evergreen Valley High School within East Side Union High School District from August 2014 to May 2017, and completed a school social work internship at Independence High School during the 2013-2014 academic year. Amanda has a robust background in child care, having held the position of Director at Palo Alto Community Child Care for six years, and gained valuable experience as a case manager intern at Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County in 2012-2013. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UC San Diego.
