Luke Holm is an experienced educator and coach with a focus on English Language Arts, English Language Development, and social justice. Currently serving as a Grade 7 teacher at College Connection Academy and Franklin McKinley School District since May 2014, Luke develops lesson plans aligned with Common Core and California State Standards for over 120 students. Luke has also tutored students privately in preparation for SAT reading, writing, and essay components from 2015 to 2019. Prior to this, Luke taught 8th grade honors ELA and coached girls’ soccer at Antioch Upper Grade School, along with coaching volleyball and soccer in San Jose. Luke holds a Bachelor's Degree in English, Philosophy, and Education from Northern Illinois University.
