Jason Townsend

Jason Townsend is a seasoned drilling engineer currently employed at Franklin Mountain Energy, LLC since October 2021. With prior experience as a drilling consultant at Tap Rock Resources and Parsley Energy, Jason has specialized in performance optimization and drilling strategy management. Previous roles include operations supervisor at Weatherford, where Jason led Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) and Underbalanced Drilling (UBD) operations, and significant leadership experience as president of Townsend Brothers Inc., overseeing growth in employees and profits. Jason's military background as an intelligence specialist in the United States Marine Corps includes participation in key operations and holding a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
