Christopher Krug serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Franklin News Foundation since May 2019, leading a diverse portfolio that includes The Center Square and various media outlets. Previously, Christopher was the President of the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity and held multiple roles at the Illinois Radio Network, including Publisher & General Manager. With extensive experience in media and business development, Christopher has also functioned as Vice President at RITA Corporation, President at No Limit Agency, and Editor in Chief of the 1851 Franchise Project. Christopher's media career includes significant roles at the Chicago Sun-Times, Shaw Media, and NorthWest News Group. Academically, Christopher holds an M.B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in Communication Arts from Allegheny College.
