Lynn Cota

Lynn Cota serves as the Treasurer of the Vermont Superintendents Association since May 2023 and has been the Superintendent of the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union since July 2017, demonstrating expertise in leadership during complex changes, district consolidation, and the implementation of student-centered practices. Prior roles include Co-President of the Champlain Valley Superintendents Association from August 2019 to October 2023, Principal, Literacy Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal at Berkshire Elementary School from July 2003 to June 2017, and various positions at Montgomery Elementary School from August 1995 to June 2004. Lynn Cota holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction - Educational Leadership from Johnson State College and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Trinity College of Vermont.
