Matt Tanielian began their career in 1995 as a Staff Attorney for the Federal Election Commission. In 1996, they moved to US Senator Robert Torricelli's office as Counsel. In 2000, they joined the Information Technology Industry Council as Vice President. In 2003, they became Director at Cisco Systems. Finally, in 2008, they co-founded Franklin Square Group.
Matt Tanielian received their Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law between 1992 and 1995. Prior to that, they earned a BA in Political Science from Boston University between 1987 and 1991.
