Benjamin Abell

Benjamin Abell has a strong background in the financial industry, with a focus on product development and strategy. Benjamin currently holds the position of Head of Product & Strategy at Franklin Templeton, a role they began in January 2023.

Prior to this, Benjamin worked at Colonial First State for over 15 years. Benjamin'sroles included Head of Superannuation & Strategy - Distribution from September 2020 to December 2022, Head of Institutional Sales from October 2017 to September 2020, National Manager, Institutional Sales from November 2016 to October 2017, National Manager, Strategy & Implementation from April 2016 to November 2016, Senior Product Manager from April 2012 to April 2016, and Product Manager from December 2007 to March 2012.

Before joining Colonial First State, Benjamin worked at Colonial Geared Investments as a Service Manager from December 2006 to December 2007 and as an Account Manager from November 2004 to December 2006.

Benjamin Abell pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Economics & Marketing from Macquarie University from 1998 to 2000.
