Mike Muir

Mike Muir has extensive experience in the financial services sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Digital Assets Technology at Franklin Templeton since October 2006. In this role, Mike leads the development efforts for the Digital Asset Platform and Ecosystem. Previously, Mike held the position of Director, Software Development at Franklin Templeton, overseeing application development and support teams across areas such as Portfolio Management, Trading, Wealth Management, Core Banking, Compliance, and document formatting. Mike's teams are responsible for the creation of proprietary software utilized by Investment Management professionals for investment risk management and performance analysis. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Mike worked at DST Output as a Sr. Technical Consultant and at Output Technology Solutions as a Technical Lead and Software Developer.
