Heather Cooper

Heather Cooper is an experienced educator currently serving as a Teacher at Franklin Township Community School Corporation since September 2017 and as an Educational Consultant and Licensed Instructor for Rescuer In Training since December 2018. Previously, Heather worked as a Master Teacher and Teacher at Perry Township Schools from July 2004 to November 2016, where responsibilities included administering professional development, performing teacher evaluations, and coaching staff. Heather's earlier career included co-owning Rent-A-Geek Computers, focusing on computer service and customer training from October 2001 to August 2007. Academically, Heather holds a Teaching Certificate in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Indiana State University, a Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Indianapolis. Heather also engaged in student government leadership during studies at Ball State University.
