Katy Gibson has experience working in various companies and roles. Katy most recently worked at FranklinCovey as a Learning Implementation Strategist. Prior to that, Katy worked at MillerKnoll as a Senior Global Learning & Development Strategist. Katy'sresponsibilities included developing, leading, and consulting on global learning initiatives and programs. Katy possessed a diverse set of skills including training & development, consulting, data measurement & analytics, project management, learning strategy & design, diversity, equity & inclusion, content development, marketing & branding, interpersonal communication, and web design & strategy.

Before joining MillerKnoll, Katy worked at Herman Miller as a Senior Talent Management Consultant. Katy focused on leading, building, consulting, and measuring global development initiatives and programs. Katy helped employees thrive across different business units within the Herman Miller Group of brands.

Earlier in their career, Katy worked at ReachLocal in various roles. Katy was the Lead Training Manager for Sales & Enablement where they developed and delivered impactful on-site and virtual sales training. Katy also served as the National Field Sales Training Manager, responsible for training new and tenured sales executives and team leaders. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Internet Marketing Consultant, driving new business acquisition, growth, and retention in the digital space.

Katy began their professional journey at hibu as an Account Executive, specializing in business-to-business outside advertising sales, particularly in internet and print advertising. Katy had a high level of knowledge in online marketing, including websites, search engine marketing, and search engine optimization. Katy received recognition for their achievements as a President's Club Circle of Achievement First-Place Winner in 2009 and 2010.

Katy Gibson has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communication Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English & Creative Writing from Hope College. Katy completed their high school education at Columbus School for Girls. In addition to their academic qualifications, Katy has obtained several certifications including Adult Mental Health First Aid Certification USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in April 2022, Leading Edge Program Graduate-Women in Leadership from the Grand Rapids Chamber in January 2019, be nice. Business Liaison-Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Community Ambassador from the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan in June 2018, and FranklinCovey Learning Certified Facilitator from FranklinCovey in September 2016.
