Sue Baker

Sue Baker is currently a Councillor at Frankston City Council. Prior to this, they were the Learning and Development Manager at Cerebral Palsy Alliance from February 2018 to March 2020. Before that, Sue was the Head of Operations at MaST International Group from September 2006 to December 2007, where they developed strategic, service & functional capability of Client Services team, implemented KPI & business monitoring metrics, maintained ISO9001 accreditation, recruited & developed Associates, outsourced print production facility & established HR role.

Sue began their career at Mary Gober International Ltd as a Client Relationship Director & Training Consultant in June 2002. In this role, they built relationships in US, identifying business opportunities, negotiating a launch client and delivering a profitable P&L. Sue also partnered with clients in UK and Europe to design and implement training programmes for improved customer and employee engagement. Sue managed all aspects of consultancy cycle from market analysis, to scoping proposals, implementation and evaluation. Sue also worked with clients and colleagues to target specific metrics, business performance outcomes and organisational goals.

Sue Baker has a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Master of Business in Leadership & Organisation Dynamics from Swinburne University of Technology, and a Graduate Diploma in Organisation Behaviour from Swinburne University in Australia. Sue also has a Diploma in Training Management from the Institute of Training & Development, and is an accredited user of Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) from Otto Kroeger Associates. Finally, Sue Baker has a BA Hons Degree in Geography from the University of Leicester.
