Matthias Bartneck

Matthias Bartneck is a scientist and group leader at the Department of Internal Medicine III, Immunological Lab at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen since 2014. Matthias has contributed to various research initiatives, including serving as a member of COST Action Mye-EUNITER during the European Union Framework Program Horizon 2020. Previous experiences include roles as a visiting scientist at Utrecht Institute for Pharmaceutical Sciences, post-doc at University Hospital Aachen, and PhD student at the Institute for Dermatology and Interdisciplinary Center for Clinical Research, where Matthias completed a doctoral thesis on immune cell interactions with nanoparticles. Education includes a doctorate in Biology from RWTH Aachen University and a Diploma in Biology from Bielefeld University, along with a habilitation in Medicine from RWTH Aachen University.
