Dr. Jurenne D. Hooi

Dr. Jurenne D. Hooi is an independent consultant and keynote speaker with expertise in addressing poverty issues from a systemic perspective. Currently, Dr. Hooi serves in various leadership roles including Chair of the Supervisory Board at HKU (Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht), Frascati, and Swazoom, as well as being a board member at Woonstichting De Key and The DOEN Foundation. Dr. Hooi is also a guest lecturer at The Clingendael Institute and has held a significant role at Mental Health Caribbean since March 2018. Dr. Hooi completed a PhD in Health Sciences at Maastricht University and holds a Master's degree in the same field from the same institution, alongside education from Nyenrode Business University and Peter Stuyvesant College in Curaçao.
