Sara Taghipour holds a Master of Management in Operations Research from The University of British Columbia and a Master of Science in Mathematics-Operations Research from Simon Fraser University. As a Senior Leader of Special Projects at Fraser Health Authority since May 2022, Sara drives redevelopment and major capital projects. Previous roles include Senior Project Manager at BC Cancer, managing the development of new Cancer Centers, and Process and Systems Improvement Leader at Provincial Health Services Authority. Sara has extensive experience in project management, leadership, and systems improvement, having worked in various capacities at organizations such as Doctors of BC, Fraser Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health, and Simon Fraser University, where notable achievements include leading multi-million dollar initiatives and developing novel optimization algorithms. Sara is also certified in Project Management Professional (PMP) and Change Management Professional (CCMP).
