Chris Gardner

Chris Gardner is a seasoned professional in mechanical engineering and project management with extensive experience in the defense sector. Currently serving as a Managing Consultant at Frazer-Nash Consultancy since August 2017, Chris leads defense R&D design projects, ensuring deliverables meet schedule and budget requirements. Prior roles include Principal Engineer on secondment at Babcock International Group, where responsibilities included serving within the Marine System Support Partner's System Technical Authority team, and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Babcock Australia & New Zealand, focusing on engineering approvals. Chris has also contributed to the design of next-generation submarines and held leadership positions within the British Army's Royal Engineers. An alumnus of the University of Leeds, Chris holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering and enhanced military training from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
