Fratelli Branca Distillery is an italian company owned by the Branca family. The industrial activity of the company, leader in the spirits sector for 175 years, began in 1845 when Bernardino Branca invented Fernet-Branca, the bitter liqueur that would have become famous all over the world. The story continued passing through the development of Stravecchio Branca and Brancamenta, “historic” products of the company, while the portfolio was expanded with a policy of brand acquisitions, extension lines and the entry in the market of wines and sparkling wines. “Novare Serbando” is the leitmotiv of the company’s growth, based on quality, innovation and the respect of traditions. The company's products renowned in the reference market sectors include: Fernet–Branca, Brancamenta, Stravecchio Branca, Caffè Borghetti, Grappa Candolini, Grappa Sensèa, Punt e Mes, Carpano Classico, Carpano Bianco, Carpano Dry and Antica Formula, Sambuca Borghetti, the premium wine distillate Magnamater, Sernova vodka, the wines Chianti Classici Villa Branca, the sparkling wine Bellarco and the latest addition Carpano Dry. The company operates respecting the environment in compliance with the Ethical Code, a formalized code of conduct. The group does not include companies or operating units in countries with a low taxation or with limitations on trade-union freedom. Niccolò Branca is the Chairman of Fratelli Branca Distillerie S.r.l. and Fratelli Branca Destilerias S.A. (Argentina). In October 2011 Italian president Giorgio Napolitano appointed Niccolò Branca Knight of Industry.
