Tommy Zavieh

Tommy Zavieh is a Tax Partner and the National Practice Leader of Research & Development Tax Credits at Frazier & Deeter. He has over 20 years of professional consulting experience, the majority of which have been dedicated to R&D Tax Credit in the U.S. and abroad. His expertise also encompasses addressing other complex business and tax needs such as ASC 740, cost segregation and other specialty tax services. Tommy serves various industries, including automotive, bioscience, consumer products, financial services, food & beverage, manufacturing & distribution, medical device, pharmaceutical and technology. 

Tommy has worked with businesses ranging from startups that have gone on to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange to Fortune companies that are household names, helping them improve cash flow, earnings per share and effective tax rates. Under his guidance, clients have received more than $1 billion in credits and deductions, and he has successfully defended clients’ claims when audited. 

Before joining FD, Tommy was a Senior Manager with KPMG’s Tax Practice, where he led the R&D Tax Credit Practice for the Southeast Region.
