David C Poulton has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and companies. David C began their career as a Student at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 2002. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Force Design Officer at the U.S. Army Force Design Directorate. David C then transitioned to the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corps, where they worked as the West Region National Guard Advisor from 2004 to 2007.
In 2007, Poulton joined the U.S. Army Europe as the National Guard Exercise Officer and State Partnership Coordinator, responsible for coordinating and executing all Army National Guard activities and exercises within the European Theater. David C later returned to the U.S. Army Force Design Directorate as the Total Army Analysis Team Chief, serving from 2009 to 2011, where they participated in force structuring and analysis.
From 2011 to 2013, Poulton served as the Army National Guard Advisor at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, providing expertise on National Guard policies and monitor leadership development courses. Following their role at the college, they became the Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Center Initial Military Training from 2013 to 2015, advising on policies and regulations related to Army National Guard Initial Military Training.
In 2016, Poulton transitioned to the Kuna Library District as the first Human Resources Specialist, responsible for building the HR program and implementing progressive compensation and benefits packages. David C remained in this role until 2021. Most recently, in 2022, they started working as a Human Resources Recruiter at Frazier Industrial Company.
Throughout their career, Poulton has demonstrated expertise in human resources management, leadership development, force structuring, and policy advisory roles in the military and civilian sectors.
David C Poulton has an education history that includes several institutions and programs. In 1982 to 1983, they attended Idaho State University where they studied Political Science and Government. Following this, from 1984 to 1986, they attended Boise State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science. Additionally, they attended the U.S. Army Armor School in an undisclosed period and completed the Armor Officer Basic Course. Later, they attended the U.S. Army Armor School again for the Armor Officer Advanced Course, which they completed by 1990. Moving forward, in 2002 to 2003, they attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College without obtaining a specific degree. Lastly, from 2003 to 2004, they studied at Webster University and obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources.
