Parveen Bhatti

Parveen Bhatti is a distinguished scientist currently serving at BC Cancer since March 2018, where roles include Scientific Director of the BC Generations Project and Senior Scientist. In addition to this, Parveen holds multiple academic positions, including Affiliate Professor and Joint Associate Professor at Fred Hutch, as well as Associate Professor at UBC School of Population and Public Health since October 2022. Parveen's contributions extend to advisory roles, with membership on the Institute of Cancer Research Advisory Board at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since January 2022, and serves as Associate Editor for Environmental Health Perspectives until December 2024. Parveen's career includes prior positions as Assistant Professor at Fred Hutch and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. Education includes a PhD in Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology from the University of Washington and advanced degrees from The University of British Columbia in Occupational and Environmental Health and Genetics.
