Frode Brattum is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical management and safety engineering within the maritime and offshore sectors. Currently serving as Senior Technical Manager at Fred. Olsen Windcarrier since September 2017, Frode oversees the technical management of four cruise ships for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Prior to this role, Frode worked as a Technical Safety Engineer at Aibel, conducting safety assessments for various offshore and onshore projects. Frode also held captaincy of the pleasure yacht S/Y Friskus VI during a family voyage from Norway to the Caribbean, and was involved in various technical capacities at Det Norske Veritas, focusing on nautical safety and communication systems, as well as at Fosen Mekaniske Verksted, contributing to the construction of passenger vessels. Frode holds a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
