Geir Edvardsen is a highly experienced professional in marine operations and project management, currently serving as Work Package Manager for Moorings and Feeder Vessels at Fred. Olsen Windcarrier since October 2022. With a career spanning from 1989 to the present, Geir has held significant roles including Manager of Projects/Marine/Structural at HEX as and Operations/Engineering Manager at Semco Maritime, overseeing complex operations such as the re-installation of SpudCans on the Haven jack-up rig. Previous positions include Transport & Installation Manager for Eni Norge AS on the Goliat FPSO project and Project Manager for BP on the Skarv project, along with extensive experience at Statoil in various marine operations capacities. Geir holds a Master of Science degree in Structural and Marine Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
