Carey Verniel

Carey Verniel has over two decades of experience in strategic transformation and data governance, currently serving as Strategic Transformation Director at Freddie Mac since May 2008. Verniel's roles have included Business Rules Director and Enterprise Data Governance Senior Lead, where responsibilities encompassed establishing governance structures, providing strategic support, and facilitating enterprise data management initiatives. Prior to Freddie Mac, Verniel held positions such as Account Manager at Legal Placements, Inc., and Technical Recruiter across various staffing firms. An alumnus of Virginia Tech, Verniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree between 1994 and 1998.
