Luke S. Hayden

Luke S. Hayden is currently a Board Member at Freddie Mac. Prior to that, they were an Executive Vice President at JPMorgan Chase from January 1992 to December 2005. During their time at JPMorgan Chase, Hayden was responsible for Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation’s Portfolio Management, Secondary Marketing, Structured Finance, Product Management, Fair Lending, Emerging Markets, Subprime Securitization, MSR Risk Management, and MSR Flow/Bulk acquisitions. Luke was also the Principal negotiator of Advanta Mortgage acquisition in 2001 and helped to integrate the Mortgage Capital Markets activities of multiple Mergers and Acquisitions including Chase and BankOne, Chemical Bank and Chase, and Chemical Bank and Margaretten Financial. Hayden was also the Director of Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation and its parent, Chase Manhattan Bank, USA as well as the Chairman of Chase Consumer Credit’s Asset Liability Committee. Luke was also a Member of Chase Manhattan Corporation’s Asset Liability and Market Risk Committees as well as a Member of JPMorgan Chase’s Markets Committee.

Before their time at JPMorgan Chase, Hayden was the SVP Consumer Asset Management at Security Pacific National Bank from January 1989 to June 1992. After their time at Security Pacific National Bank, they became the Vice Chairman/Board Director at Residential Mortgage Services, Inc. In 2010, Hayden became the President at PHH Mortgage Corporation and held that position until March 2012.

Luke S. Hayden attended the University of California, Los Angeles - The Anderson School of Management, where they earned their MBA. Luke also holds a BA from Brown University in Mathematics and English.
