Matt Tressler

Matt Tressler is an experienced professional in the field of asset management and commercial real estate finance. Currently serving as a Multifamily Asset Management Manager at Freddie Mac since March 2021, Tressler previously held the position of VP of Asset Management at Amherst Capital Management from March 2019 to March 2021. Tressler’s extensive background includes over a decade at CapitalSource, where roles included VP, Senior Loan Officer, AVP, Loan Officer, Credit Analyst, and Account Executive, managing a significant portfolio of commercial real estate loans and executing various risk assessments and financial analyses. Earlier experience includes underwriting roles at Prudential Financial and CreditVest, Inc. Tressler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Economics from Washington & Jefferson College.
