Miro Barbu

Miro Barbu is a seasoned network technician currently employed at DTU - Technical University of Denmark since September 2023 and has been serving as a network technician and IT consultant for Fredensborg Kommune since March 2006. With extensive experience in network infrastructure and security products, Miro Barbu is proficient in technologies such as Palo Alto firewall, Cortex/Traps, Infoblox, Cisco wireless solutions, BIG-IP - F5, Proofpoint POD, and Clearpass, along with core, distribution, and access networks involving Cisco and HP/Aruba. Previous roles include serving as a system administrator at Danscan Steel from January 2005 to February 2006, overseeing both administrative and production IT, and positions in server hosting and system development at EasySeppedy APS, as well as system development at Dansteel Engineering and IT consultancy at Det Danske Staalvalseværk. Miro Barbu holds a degree as a Datafagtekniker from TEC Ballerup.
