Mike Louis

Mike Louis currently serves as a Member at Frederic Dorwart, Lawyers PLLC, since October 2022. Previously, Mike was an Adjunct Professor at SMU Dedman School of Law, where courses taught included Financial Products: Economics, Regulation, and Taxation and International Tax, from January 2019 to July 2023. Mike's professional experience includes roles as Senior Tax Counsel at Fluor Corporation from May 2019 to September 2022 and as a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery from April 2015 to April 2019, where counsel was provided to clients on U.S. tax matters. Earlier in Mike's career, positions included Associate at Dentons US LLP from August 2012 to April 2015 and Law Clerk at Goldman Sachs from August 2011 to July 2012. Mike holds an LL.M in Tax from New York University School of Law and a JD from Cardozo School of Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from St. Francis College.
