Brian Richards

Brian Richards is an experienced educator and entrepreneur, currently serving as an English Teacher at Frederick County Public Schools since August 2022. Previously, Brian co-founded My Bike Shop, a community-driven cycling business, from January 2013 to July 2022. Brian also has a strong background in teaching, having worked as an English teacher and professional development liaison at Howard County Public Schools from August 2004 to June 2013. Additionally, Brian served as an Athletic Club Manager at Columbia Association from July 2006 to April 2013. Brian's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in History from Syracuse University and multiple degrees in education, including a Master's degree in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies from Armstrong State University, alongside a Certificate in School Administration and Supervision from McDaniel College.
