Katina Zentz

Katina Zentz is an experienced photojournalist currently working as a Staff Photojournalist at Frederick News-Post since June 2021, where strong collaboration and innovative storytelling strategies have been implemented. Prior experience includes a Visual Intern position at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, enhancing visual storytelling skills, and serving as Creative Director at The Daily Iowan, leading a team to create impactful visual content. Katina also held roles as Photo Editor and Photojournalist at The Daily Iowan, and completed a Photo Intern position at Telegraph Herald, gaining significant experience in fast-paced newsroom environments. Katina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Iowa and has furthered artistic education at Ringling College of Art and Design.
