James Harrington

James Harrington is an accomplished musician and educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Voice at the State University of New York at Fredonia since August 2021. With extensive experience as an opera singer, James has performed principal roles with numerous prestigious organizations, including Santa Fe Opera and Portland Opera. With a rich background in music administration, James has held positions such as Coordinator for the Lehrer Vocal Institute and Principal at Singular Arts Consulting, alongside key roles in educational settings, including Graduate Teaching Assistant at Florida State University. James holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice and Opera from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has pursued various academic qualifications emphasizing entrepreneurship and performance.
