Katherine Altobello

Assistant Professor Of Applied Music, Voice at Southwestern University

Katherine Altobello is an accomplished mezzo-soprano and voice instructor with extensive experience in teaching and performance. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Applied Music, Voice at Southwestern University since August 2016, Katherine has also been a Guest Artist with the Austin Chamber Ensemble and performed as an Alto Soloist at St. Martin's Lutheran Church. Additional performance credits include engagements with San Diego Opera, New York City Ballet, and various music organizations. Katherine has a Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University Bloomington and a BA in Music- Voice and Theatre- Acting from Southwestern University, and is dedicated to teaching voice to individuals of all ages.
