Junaid Zubairi

Junaid Zubairi serves as a SUNY Distinguished Professor and Chair at the State University of New York at Fredonia since January 1999, focusing on research in network protocol design, network applications, and smart city IoT applications. Previously, Zubairi was a Professor and ABET team leader at the American University of Ras Al Khaimah, where successful accreditation was achieved for computer engineering programs. Additional academic roles include Associate Professor at the University of Hail, where involvement in research on emergency medical data integration occurred, and positions at the International Islamic University Malaysia and SIR SYED University of Engineering and Technology, with contributions in VLSI design and curriculum development. Zubairi's educational background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
