Sarah Hamilton is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in the field of music. Serving as the Associate Director of the School of Music at the State University of New York at Fredonia since 1992, Sarah Hamilton holds the position of Professor of Oboe, chairs the performance department, co-chairs the 21st Century curriculum revision committee, and administers the Marion International Fellowship. Additionally, Sarah Hamilton is an active oboist, freelancing with the Buffalo Philharmonic, Bach and Beyond, and various chamber groups, while also contributing to woodwind chamber music and teaching oboe-related courses. Sarah Hamilton's academic background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts in Oboe from The Ohio State University and a Master of Music from Wayne State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Music from Western University.
