Ian Dooley has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2010 when they were a Production Assistant for TV 17. In 2011, they worked as a Play-by-Play Broadcaster for collegebaseball360.com, a Sportscaster, SID Assistant for Eckerd College, a Sportscaster and Broadcast Assistant for Play-by-Play Sports Properties, LLC, and a Program Director and Sportscaster for WSRQ Radio. In 2014, they were a Sportscaster for Wine Country Broadcasting and a Hospitality & Direct to Consumer Sales Manager for Hartwell Estate Vineyards. From 2015 to 2019, they were the Director of Hospitality & Direct to Consumer Sales for VIADER Vineyards & Winery. Since 2019, they have been a Wine & Spirits Sales Associate for Bounty Hunter Rare Wine & Spirits and, as of 2022, they will be a Business Development Coordinator for Free Flow Wines.
Ian Dooley received their B.A. in Corporate Communications from Elon University between 2002 and 2006. In 2005, they completed a semester abroad at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso, where they studied Spanish and Communications. In 2010 and 2011, they obtained a Certificate from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Sports Broadcasting and Audio/Video Production. In 2016, they obtained their Advanced Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in Wine. Additionally, in 2015 they obtained their Certified Sommelier from The Court of Master Sommeliers, and in 2016 they obtained their WSET Advanced Certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Currently, Ian Dooley is attending Napa Valley College to pursue a degree in Viticulture and Enology.
