The Boston Foundation
Ava Buchanan has a diverse background in nonprofit development and research, currently serving as an Associate in the Campaign for a Greater Boston at The Boston Foundation since February 2024. Previously, Ava held roles such as Associate in Development and Donor Services at the same organization, and Administrative Coordinator of Resources, Marketing & Development at the Alliance for Citizen Directed Supports from June 2022 to February 2024. Additional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Economics Department at Oberlin College, and various internships related to development and fundraising. Ava earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with minors in Religion and Law & Society from Oberlin College in May 2023.

The Boston Foundation, Greater Boston’s community foundation, seeks to bring the collective power of our region’s people and resources together to drive real change.
