Candace Burton, MBA, is a Senior Program Officer at The Boston Foundation since April 2021, managing the Safety Net Grants program and overseeing the strategic direction for the Support for the Social Safety Net focus area. Prior roles at The Boston Foundation include Program Officer for Safety Net Grants, Manager for the Safety Net Grants program, and Senior Grants Administration Associate, contributing to initiatives benefiting marginalized communities. Prior to this, Candace was a Corporate Partnerships Associate at Good Sports, Inc., facilitating the distribution of over $3 million in donations, and served as an Americorps VISTA Leader at Up2Us Sports. Educational qualifications include an MBA and a Master's in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst, as well as a Bachelor's in Sport Management from Ithaca College.
