Maryia Sadouskaya-Komlach is a seasoned media and policy professional with extensive experience in leadership and project management within various organizations. Currently serving as Chairwoman of the Board and Director at Free Press for Eastern Europe since January 2023, Maryia also holds the position of Director of Field Office and Senior Team Lead for Europe/Central Asia at Free Press Unlimited since December 2015. In addition, Maryia is a Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis and has previously participated in esteemed fellowships, including the John Smith Trust and Warsaw Security Forum. With a background in journalism and international journalism, including a Master of Arts from Columbia University, Maryia has played vital roles in mentoring and consulting across multiple media projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing democratic values and the media landscape in Eastern Europe.
