Carla Gericke

Carla Gericke is an experienced professional currently serving as a Realtor at Porcupine Real Estate and has held the position of President Emeritus at the Free State Project since March 2011. At the Free State Project, Carla managed operations, including budgeting and fundraising, while successfully recruiting speakers and increasing event attendance by over 50%. Carla also acts as President of the Foundation for New Hampshire Independence, promoting the benefits of states' rights. Previously, Carla ran for the NH State Senate in District 20 and served as Acting Executive Director of the New Hampshire Writers' Project, where management of events and media relations was key. With a legal foundation as In-House Counsel at Scient Corporation and Logitech Inc., Carla supported sales and marketing teams through contract negotiations. Carla holds a B.Proc in Law from the University of Pretoria and an MFA in Creative Writing from The City College of New York.
