Andrew Ryde is an experienced finance professional with extensive expertise in debt capital markets and governance roles. Currently, Andrew serves as an Independent Member of the Audit & Risk Committee at Freebridge Community Housing and a Freelance Trainer at MyBnk. As a longstanding member of the Board of Trustees at Go Beyond, Andrew is also part of the Finance sub-committee. Previously, Andrew held significant leadership positions at CIBC, including Chair of Trustees for the CIBC Children's Miracle Foundation in Europe and Managing Director, Head of European Debt Capital Markets, where strategic growth was driven across diverse sectors. Andrew's earlier career included roles at RBC Capital Markets, Natixis, and HSBC. Andrew holds a BA Hons in Geography from The University of Sheffield.

Freebridge Community Housing
Freebridge Community Housing is the largest not for profit housing provider in West Norfolk. We own and manage close to 7,000 homes in total. We are committed to our vision of “Developing Homes and Creating Opportunities for People within West Norfolk”. Freebridge was established in April 2006 and since then has been continually evolving to meet the individual needs of our customers and the changing requirements within the housing sector. A key priority has been ensuring delivery on our promise to customers to deliver a major home improvement programme by our 2012 deadline. In addition we are dedicated to working with local partners to address wider social issues such as community development, customer engagement and the tackling of anti-social behaviour.
