Michael J. Russo

Michael J. Russo, CPA is the Managing Director of Freed Maxick’s Rochester office. Formerly, he was a founding partner in Bernardi and Russo, CPAs and served as the firm’s managing partner for several years.

Mike concentrates his practice to individual and business taxation and business consulting areas, and counsels clients on tax strategies, planning, compliance and audit issues on both U.S., state and international matters. He has represented clients in matters before the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Departments of Taxation and Labor. In addition, he consults clients on business formation and profit enhancement matters, as well as compensation plan design.
