Gijs Gubbels

Gijs Gubbels is an AI Scientist at Freeday since March 2023, focusing on developing advanced AI solutions to automate repetitive tasks through Python software engineering, ML model training in cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, and AWS, as well as data analysis and prompt engineering. Previously, Gijs worked as a Dataspecialist and Graduate Intern in Product Data at Albert Heijn, where research involved various word embedding models for grocery product classification. Gijs also served as an IT assistant at Eurocommercial Properties N.V. and worked as a freelance professional at Temper. Gijs holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science and a Master's degree in Information Studies: Data Science from the University of Amsterdam, along with a minor in Data Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
