Kyra Jennings has extensive work experience in various roles within the political and communication sectors. Kyra began their career as a Deputy Press Secretary for the Democratic Leadership Council in 2003 and later served as the Communications Director for the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2007, they became the Southern Regional Press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee before joining CFO Alex Sink and the Florida Department of Financial Services as the Communications Director in 2009. In 2010, they worked as the Press Secretary for the Alex Sink for Governor Campaign. Since 2011, Kyra has been with Freedman Consulting, LLC, starting as the Project Director and Chief of Staff and working their way up to Vice President and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President.
Kyra Jennings pursued their higher education at Duke University from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government.
