Captain Mike Czubek is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the boating and ice management industries. Currently serving as Tender Captain and Ice Rink Manager at Suntex Marinas since March 2022, Czubek also holds a longtime position as a USCG Captain at Freedom Boat Club, where vessel operation safety is emphasized through a range of instructional classes. As a Master Mariner at Captain Mike's Blue Water Charters, Czubek offers diverse charter services for both business and personal events. Additional roles include serving as a USA Hockey Official and co-founding Boat Safe Chicago, while also dedicating over four decades to supporting boaters along the Chicago lakefront. Czubek's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University and various maritime licenses, emphasizing a robust foundation in both business and maritime disciplines.
