Aaron Terry

Aaron Terry has extensive work experience in software engineering and development. Aaron worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Freedom Consulting Group, LLC. starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Marathon TS from 2020 to 2022.

Before their recent roles, Aaron worked at various companies in different positions. Aaron was a Senior Python Engineer at Blackspoke from 2019 to 2020, where they were responsible for maintaining and improving existing software code and designing software databases. Prior to that, they served as a Software Developer/Systems Integrator at OGSystems from 2013 to 2019, contributing to the modernization and migration of aeronautical systems.

Aaron also had experience as a Software Developer at Integrity Applications Incorporated from 2010 to 2013, where they developed government geospatial data analysis tools. Aaron worked as a Software Engineer at NJVC from 2008 to 2010, primarily supporting the Aeronautical Information Exchange Model development.

Earlier in their career, Aaron worked as a Software Engineer at L-3 Communications from 2007 to 2008 and as a Programmer at SAIC from 2004 to 2005. Aaron also served as a CND Analyst at Lockheed-Martin, Scott AFB from 2002 to 2004 and as an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Army Reserve from 2003 to 2004.

Aaron Terry received a Master of Science (MS) degree in CMIS from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Management and Information Systems from the University of Southern Illinois from 2005 to 2010. In 1997, they attended the University of Maryland for Computer Science studies, and in the same year, they also studied Computer Science at Central Texas College. Additionally, Aaron has obtained several certifications, including Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in December 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in November 2018, and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in March 2015.
